Associations and blogs, fourth week of February
First, this week's free association thingie:
- You've got a friend:: in Jesus
- Immigration:: Ellis Island
- Waitress:: There's a fly in my soup.
- Snickers:: Doodles
- Recognize:: Identify
- Concept:: -ual Art
- Birthday:: card
- Told you so:: pride
- Unlikely:: Superheroes
- Extension:: cord
For #3, the classic joke usually includes a male attendant rather than a female, perhaps because males can more readily identify the backstroke. Snickerdoodles are a really tasty cookie. "I told you so" can, depending on the inflection, be a sign of pride. "Unlikely Superheroes" is a game on Whose Line is it Anyway?, the show where everything's made up and the points don't matter... that's right, the points are just like James Dixon's Star Trek timeline.
Next, this week's psiphi.org blog entries:
- Have done this weekend (comparison) (Feb. 21, where I compare what happened with what I expected to happen)
- Opportunity knocks... (Feb. 22, where I am ominous)
- My Upcoming Week, Feb. 28-Mar. 7 (Feb. 27, where I look at the next seven days)
Pepsi can count: 42.5* Pepsi, 16 Pepsi Vanilla.
* - Counting each of the fifteen 14oz. cans as 11/6 regular cans
